The Fort Schuyler Club has been part of downtown Utica’s architectural and civic landscape for generations. Founded in 1883 and housed at 254 Genesee Street in a building originally constructed in 1830, the Club remains one of Genesee Street’s enduring historic landmarks.

The Historic Preservation Fund helps preserve and maintain the building’s exterior, including masonry, façade materials, windows, trim, entrances, roofline elements, and other historic features. Contributions directly support the long-term care of the Club’s exterior character, architectural integrity, and presence in the downtown corridor.

This fund is dedicated specifically to exterior preservation and does not support general club operations, programming, dining, events, or interior improvements.
